PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE..... That seems to be the only word I can speak anymore. I'm pushing everyone to the limit. We are working hard for a 2-3 hour drama presentation Feb. 2nd at Cedercrest Free Methodist Church. We will be performing for 2-3 hours straight and on top of it not one drama will be repeated, WOW thats alot to ask of a group of 6, but we WILL DO IT!!! The willingness to work hard and get the dramas done has surprised me with this group so small. I asked them to bring it, and boy did they BRING IT. So lets work hard and get this done =D
Announcements!!!
-Practice times are being changed from the 1st and 3rd week of the month to the 2nd and 4th week, starting the 2nd week in January
-We will be performing tuesday Feb 2nd from 5-7/8pm We need to be there by 4:30pm to set up, PLEASE talk to me if the time is a problem, I know some group members will find this difficult.

Tuesdays =D
Hey everyone,
We are going to be meeting twice a month from now on.. the 1st and 3rd Tuesday's of every month from 6-9pm. It'll simplify schedules as with the distance I have created between myself and the church I can no longer bike there, I must depend on my dads car, and I can't use his car every week for that amount of time.. So I think this will simplify all of our schedules..
I have mentioned meeting one Saturday a month as well, but that would be in the morning probably 9-12, and would be in at my house.. So let me know what you guys think of that, and if that would work, In my opinion I think the extra practice time would be very helpful to us all.
Nov 15th I will be leading worship for Cedar crest church, I would love to have Love in Action join me, give us an opportunity to get comfortable on stage, If you are interested in that please let me know, We will practice Tuesday the 9th from 6-8pm, and then meet at the church Nov. 15th at 9am, So let me know if your available for that.

Lets get back to it =D
Alrighty, well its been 4 weeks, and I for one am ready to get back into the swing of things =D I'm ready to get to work and start prepping again. So here are a few announcements.
*Tuesday the 20th we will meet in the sanctuary by 6pm. People will be coming in and out of the church for the food distribution during that time as well so just head straight to the sanctuary =D
*I need everyone to bring 2 shirts, or a shirt and a sweater or something, as I need a little bit more footage for the video... also if you have any music that you think could go with the video, let me know so I can check it out =D

Next few weeks
Hey guys, Well the surgery went well thank you for your prayers, but I am sad to say that we will not be getting together for the next 4 weeks.
Our next meeting will be Tuesday, October 20th. Also the time has officially changed from 6pm-9pm sharp because of school. Please have rides ready to and from before tuesday nights =D I'll see you all soon =D

Hey Long time, ay?
Alright Now that my move is over, I suppose I need to update so nobody is lost, ay? Last week we discussed the new rules for the group. We need to be serious if we are going to be working as a team, and so I decided to set up some ground rules while we are working together. So here they are, write them down memorize them, whatever you need to do to remember =D Please remember I love you all, but these rules need to be put down if we are top move forward!
1.) Commitment: If you are apart of this group I need you here weekly. I count on every person, and unless I have a commitment from each of you that this group will be a priority we can move forward. Understand I want talent, but even more than that I need people I can count on and are committed to this group and its future.
2.) When I say "Jump" you say "How High?": When I say something I need it followed. A group can not function if every decision I say is being fought or argued. I'm no longer going to push you to get things done. I just need you to do it.
3.) I need people who are flexible: I need people who can be placed in every role, and do that role with excellance. Even if its not a role you prefer treat it like its your favorite. Act it out or do that role as if its a role you love.
4.)I need full attention when I'm speaking: I give ALOT of room for fun, but I need to be assured you guys are hearing what I say so I dont have to repeat myself later. I dont want to waste your time, especially when we have alot to do, so just listen for th 15 minutes I need you to and all of us will be happier =D
5.) No mroe adding lines or taking away lines: first talk to me before you add/Take away lines second I want all the original lines memorized first so I knwo you can do the play and have confidence in that first.
6.) Eat before you come: If you are eating duiring the times i've set aside, its causing a mess which I have often cleaned up, and its taking time where we could be doing soemthing else.
7.) Dont just randomly leave: When we can't find you it wastes time as myself or someone else has to go find you which distracts form the plays, so just let me know when you leave so we dont lose peoples attention.
8.) BE ON TIME: We start sat 6. I will just start we are not waiting for people to come in late. If you are not on time and you miss information I expect you to get it on your own time. I have found that waiting 30 minutes for one person to show up is not fair to those who are on time.
9.) Meet deadlines: When I ask for something PLEASE remember to bring it. Often I need stuff by certain dates so I can edit or put them together. if I dont have them then I'm rushing to get them done later, and thats no fun.
10.)Bring all your scripts to practice. I cant make 30 copies of the same script each week. I simply can't.
11.) Everyone needs to help with the clean up at 9:50 just start cleaning up. if we all work together it will get done much faster. And you will have time to chat, and hang out at the end =D
12.) Rides need to be figured out before tuesday!! Morrisons have moved and can't be giving rides to people so find your own rides =D

Announcements
Well it is official We have put together a band. We have MUCH improvement, but We have one. Bass, Piano, drums and Vocals. I am so proud of each person. They are all working so hard. The skits are coming alone well, and we are begining to memorize, which some are doing better than others, but each person is working dillegently on them.

We will be performing Free Methodist Church Sunday November 22nd as apart of the Sunday morning service. Thus far it is our first oppurtunity to perform. It will be small, and consist of maybe 2 skits. But it will be an opportunity for us to step out and perform in front of people which will be good.
We have been working on writing out our testimonies, so as a reminder for those who didnt get that to me If you could email it to me that would be great. Once you email it to me I have something I need you to fill out =D
Also if you guys have any ideas for skits or if you see any print them, or write them so I can take a look at them. I'm always looking for new material.
Keep working on the skits, and music. Practice makes perfect.

Practices.
Last night we had our 2nd practice. Our group has been mostly established with 10 people, and one techy. I have been pleasently suprised with the talent in our group and the willingness to jump in. I know many drama teams run into problems with eachother, but this drama team, though not expierenced, have hearts of gold and have genuine relationships with Christ. They know when to have fun and when we need to work, and because of that we have down 1 larger mime and are begining our many dramas and working on putting our band together. We have many singers, pianists, and guitarists, but we lack a bass player, and drummer. Our team is willing to learn, but that isnt easy we have a drum, but we need a bass. Please pray that the Lord will help us find a bass, and give us the ease to learn these instruments well as we begin this process.
